We build new homes, starting from a vacant lot, or a vacant building, we bring it to life and make it a loved place.
Your existing spaces need attention too, so we handle remodels of entire homes, kitchens, bathrooms or whatever needs it.
Whether it is a repair or replacement of an asphalt roof, flat roof or gutters - Four Twelve is a trusted roofer in Baltimore City.
In 2013 we took on our first vacant home, for which our company is named after, 412 E. Lanvale St. We purchased this property through Baltimore City's Vacant to Value (V2V) program, then went about performing a gut rehab on this place to turn it into a beautiful finished home.
We are fortunate to continue working with clients who want something unique for their living spaces. In this project we combined a mix of modern elements with some subtle finish decisions to build what stands as a beautiful kitchen.
A giant 40"x60" dual head shower with hand sprayer, free standing tub and double vanity, how could you ask for more. The subway tile run around the entire perimeter of the bathroom and the marble herringbone pattern tile create a modern look with classic materials. The curbless shower floor, transitions seamlessly into the floor, and the slotted edge drain completes the seamless feel.
As part of our project at 1600 Barclay, Four Twelve set a simple and seemingly attainable goal - to create one full time hire from within our community. Through the first quarter of this project, we have exceeded this goal and created 3, 30+ hour/week positions for young apprentices.
After 6 months of construction, Four Twelve is happy to deliver its first home as a part of the 1600 Barclay development project.
We will be hosting an Open House with wine, beer and small eats on Tuesday, October 3rd from 4pm - 7pm. Come by, hang for a bit and get a tour of our first finished home!
Since starting our project at 1600 Barclay, we have found numerous projects that allowed us to tap into Brick + Board's stockpile of beautiful building products.
On June 5th, we received a call from Jubilee Baltimore. Jubilee and Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) had identified a local resident in Greenmount West whose home was in critical condition - the roof was caving in and broken joists were popping through the ceiling above the bedroom. As a part of their "Legacy Resident Renovation" program, Jubilee and NHS were planning to finance the renovation and had begun the process of identifying a contractor to do the work.
Brickwork is something special in Baltimore City. The homes we are building at 1600 Barclay will be in homage to the the historical architecture of this city. In order to make our brick facades most authentic, we went and walked the block of 1600 Barclay St, in search of the oldest home with the most original architectural details.
